I knew a bunch of Enron employees and most of them were honest and upright citizens, so maybe Enron wasn't corrupt. Heh.

But this isn't that. These guys are all working on their own research projects related to global warming. It isn't like they are being told to find something or bag the results (Enron) off the books. Part of science, the heart of science, is independent testable research and most scientists live or die by that principle. That's why climategate was so scandalous--a few decided not to.
