Here is my answer to the social security question I posed.

I oppose the portion of the president's jobs bill where he lowers the taxes being paid into the social security system. The president has ignored our senior citizens. Some have told me that they felt short changed when it comes to cost of living adjustments to their social security while this president has been in office. They are being short changed again by his proposed tax cuts. If he wants a tax cut, I would give him one, but it would also cover senior citizens. These tax cuts would be to federal income tax. They would apply to the two lowest brackets. We are currently paying out a similar amount to what we take into the social security system. If the president's proposal is adopted social security would run a large deficit in 2012. Under my proposal it does not.
