If government non-scientists want to legitimately have the results peer reviewed by other scientists that's OK, but I don't think non-scientists should be weighing in on the validity of the results

Are you a non-scientist? perhaps you should withhold weighing in on the validity of the results. Obviously you aren't qualified to evaluate the validity and majority rules doesn't apply to science, so you are probably better off not having an opinion at all, let alone voicing it.

How about for campaiging for Kerry and telling the public what he believes our energy and environmental policies should be? Calling for heads of energy companies to be tried for 'high crimes against humanity and the environment?"
