We held a trivia contest on our radio station where the prizes were kegs of Genessee beer since Genessee was for some reason quite generous and donated 10 kegs to us. The following year the deal was they would donate ten kegs if we bought ten kegs. As that was in our budget anyhow (how times have changed), I thought that was a fair deal. We gave away the 10 kegs and I stored the other 10 at the Ratskeller (school pub) for future use.

When the social committee did not reserve the ice rink in enough time for the annual winter festival, I decided I should have my own replacement party. I reserved the gym, had maintenance build a stage, got some really horrible Rush cover band to play (they somehow found me and I said what the heck), charged $1, and had free beer for all. One frat (or two) stole a keg (or two) and there were fights all over campus. I was so proud. The school later demanded I pay for the beer saying I stole it for personal use. I said I gave it away for free, and, besides, it was a radio station event. They demanded I pay half or would not let me graduate. I protested for so long my name wasn't even printed in the graduation program (though I did graduate).

The best part was that I paid the fee by taking cash out of an ATM I didn't have. My roommate discovered that if you depleted your account it still took time for those antique systems to batch your withdrawal (as opposed to do it real-time like today). Therefore, the dumb machine let me make the same withdrawal twice even though I didn't have the money. The bank later called me in and I pretended I didn't know I didn't have the money. I could tell you more stories but suffice to say I was Out of Control to some degree in college.
