RP is also in favor of slashing military budgets and closing US bases all over the world. He's fairly isolationist.

That does not set well with most Repubs, even though RP claims it was GWB's policy.

(not sure how he cites to GWB for this, who started the Iraq War ...)

was talking to a more left-leaning gentleman at the bar last night and he brought up RP being booed and we chatted for a minute about the demise of the American empire (he's British) -- but I just thought it funny that he'd be watching the show ... I didn't see it

totally unrelated: have you noticed the recent outperformance of tech stocks versus the other favorite playthings -- do you have a theory on that?
