Using the horse puckey and lying CPI-U makes any comparisons using it after 1980 invalid.

Anyone who thinks its even vaguely close hasn't seen how much equivalent purchasing power degrades for folk living on CPI limited Social Security after a few years, especially after 2001 or so.

The GDP share of medical is about 17%... and its about 6% in the CPI, as if someone other than US human consumers use medical. Lots more facts and examples.

Your comparison is utterly and completely erroneous for any number of elementary reasons which a bankruptcy lawyer should be able to easily discern.
