That's the beauty of it.

Of course we did not like the zero sum game whereby we skyrocket and OECD plummets. We just wanted to catch up.

True that there's been a lagging in the catch up. Lost decade sent Brazil 30 years back. First it had to catch up with itself where it was in 1982.

Then catch up with the rest of the world. The catch up will be done much faster. Year after year the overtaking is coming early and earlier.

Emerging markets' potential growth rate is as high as it has ever been since the end of the Second World War. Thus no wonder all that money pouring in them.
