Obama had the gall to promote this blatant lie after his own campaign accepted millions in foreign donations during his 2008 campaign (some of these donations even came from the terrorist organization, Hamas). Several months ago, Obama told the nation that the last combat brigades had left Iraq. The truth is that Obama just changed the name of combat brigades to “Advise and Assist” brigades. There are still “Advise and Assist” brigades in Iraq. “I have said repeatedly that I intend to close Guantanamo Bay and I will follow through on that.” -- Obama, 2008 On March 7, 2011, Obama reverses executive order halting military trials at Guantanamo Bay. Two years after promising to close Guantanamo Bay within one year, it’s still open for business. “I have said repeatedly that America does not torture and I’m going to make sure we don’t torture.” -- Obama, 2008 In 2009, the Obama Administration announced it will continue the practice of rendition, which is sending prisoners to third world countries for interrogation (i.e., torture). Obama was telling Americans they would be able to keep their current doctors and healthcare plans under Obamacare up until Obamacare was rammed through Congress. Now that the bill has passed and we get to see what’s in it, Obama finally admitted that wasn’t exactly true. In response to the Arizona anti-criminal immigration bill, Obama told people in Iowa that people who didn’t have their “papers” were going to be harassed. That is an outright lie, since the Arizona bill mirrors Federal law and only allows police to ask for identification during the course of a criminal investigation. Obama repeatedly told the lie that the taxes of Americans would not go up to pay for his $1.5 TRILLION dollar socialist healthcare plan. The truth is that under Obamanationcare there are over $667 Billion in tax hikes and 14 different increases on citizens earning less than $250,000 a year. Liberals still mock Sarah Palin for using the term “death panel,” even though, less than a few weeks after Obama’s socialist healthcare plan passed, Liberals started talking openly about rationing healthcare for people at the beginning and end of their lives. Like “Advise and Assist” brigades, “End of Life Counseling” is a euphemism. GZ
