Ghunk, same thing drifted through my thoughts as I read that. Sweet meaninglessness is a very middle class affair. It would mean something if it could be meaningless if you watched the scum steal your car from in front of your house and thought about what nice fellows they would have been if their mommies had just treated them better and daddy would not have gotten drunk so often....instead of screaming into the night for their blood as they speed away in your car. Quite frankly ghunk I am not suprised you have chosen the deapths of the great white north. Its one thing to go off and face the Reality, its quite another to grow up in it, given little choice in the matter. But we are talking here about a feel good way of finding an acceptible lie that will convince us it is possible to live in this world as we do without leaving it condemned. I sense no saint amoung us; and no one has yet to thread the needle, so to speak. Its like saying you have been to India, and then comparing the ammenities of the various 5 star hotels. Wonderful service, but the streets around them were just so dirty, and the smell, well I don't know why they can not do something about that. What the world needs now is a plague, bad plague. Its the only thing that will end the smell. regards, mnmuench
