Pat: I agree with the statement, but disagree that Bell Altantic would select another vendor because DSC and Westell dislike each other. BA wants a DLC CAP based solution to limit access to the local loop. BA is attempting to allow only CAP on their network, and CAP doesn't interoperate.... really neither does DMT, but they are closer than CAP. Westell could be working with any number of companies. COMS has been rumored, but Hal hasn't built that into his case yet. It still comes back to the other companies working with DSC/Westell on a BA CAP interoperability plan. My point has been... BA will deploy a DSC/Westell solution.... until later.

PS. I consider AMTX a division of Westell now.
