There you go again. Looks like you have not considered the Clinton boom and the way it wiped out the deficit that existed before 1992. why go for some theory when we have the example of the Clinton boom in front of us and the faith of the world in the ability of the US to succeed. You mean I should waste a single minute listening to the long winded theoretical argument when the world is rooting for the US and egging us to get our hands and feet wet and start re building our infrastructure?

<<<Keynesian is waaaaaay overdue for an overhaul>>>

That is pretty much like our government. It is waaay overdue for an overhaul. The bad news is that the fix can make things a lot worse. I wouldn't let Tea Party types to overhaul the system.

Similarly,I would like the economy to be fixed but I wouldn't want people who didn't know anything economics to fix it.

like anything else If I wanted my plumbing to be fixed I would try to find some good plumbers. If I wanted my teeth to fo be fixed, I want to see some good dentists. If I want a heart transplant, I would want some doctors who have a history of successful heart transplants.

But some how there is this notion going around that we want ordinary people to fix the economy and we want ordinary people to fix government.
