Yes, president Obama should listen to Al Gore and many nobel prizes winners about global warming and the potential long term impacts of the Keystone XL pipeline...no good reason for the United States to embrace Canadian tar sands oil extraction in a bigger way....we need much more discussion about the importance of getting off oil and reducing our dependence on other dirty fuels -- this is a big national security issue and it should have the funding and attention that fighting terrorism gets. It's past time for the United States to become a global leader when it comes to clean energy -- China isn't outspending us in this area by accident.
