I think it's more precise to say that 159 million people are needlessly getting bombarded with LTE radio waves so 1 million people can access LTE. It is a little known fact that unless you have an LTE device, you cannot access LTE. That, my friend, is a FACT.

90% Verizon phones selling TODAY are 3G. Most of those are on 2 year contracts. So judge them however you want, it's the people who value LTE enough to get it that are outside the norm.

I've said it before, LTE won't become popular with the masses until Apple brings it to the masses.
