I'm not going by memory. According to an archive of the horse's mouth, as of July 22: In terms of an update on our LTE deployment, we are now providing service in 102 markets covering more than 160 million PoPs. We are well on track with our plan to have coverage of 185 million PoPs or better by the end of 2011.

I was going by reported numbers only, which suggest a million phones up to end of Q2. Regardless, even with realistic projections for Q3, it's at most 1 million (singular) more LTE phones than the 1 mil I used (2 million total).
