(ii) on gold, i say, "anyone who has a position in gold may not have swiss francs; but just about everyone that matters who has a position in swiss francs, especially if leveraged, and many if not most of them would be, would also have a position in gold even if not leveraged. the swiss franc just got hit, badly, by action of central banks and rogue trader(s)." ... is all i need to know about gold at the moment. (iii) had added gld @ 175 range, as well as (iv) shorting gld puts december strike price 170 @ the 7/shr level (v) am very behind on other work, so must use the rest of this week to catch up, before going to hong kong disney land saturday to celebrate birthdays of erita, jack, my wife, and my father-in-law, and then run off straight from disney land to hk airport heading for koh samui to meet w/ partners from canada, for work over the next week; at the end of which, frighteningly, october starts. cheers, tj
