To all the doubters - Here's why you buy NXTL.

In short - ARPU of $70 vs $44 for the industry.

Why would anyone pay this kind of premium?

In short - Direct Connect

Is there enough demand to make $?

In short - over 2mm public SMR users and 20mm private SMR users plus other "mobile workforce" in the many millions of users. At 6mm users and a 45% EBITDA margin, (the Morgan Stanley projection) the stock is worth over $100. BTW, Morgan Stanley projects this for 2001.

So what are we down to? Guess what. Business 101

You can only charge a premium and make real money long term if you have a valued and differentiated product that is very tough to duplicate.

Watch the sub #'s and ARPU. Those are our tea leaves.

Here endeth the lesson -

Rev. Bubba

Ed, thank you for sharing the TA information. I took your advice on the insurance puts when we were at 32, and covered at 24 when I thought there wasn't a chance in h*ll that we would ever see that level again. I give your brand of voodoo a great deal of credibility, not so much for the charts, but for their interpreter. I'm going to add some January calls and play the hoped for Christmas rally, but I'm not touching my long position. I really liked the idea that the two line phone might have different billings for home, business but I don't have much faith that user's honesty extends that far. In Denver, city employees with business cell phones used the phones over 40 percent of the time for personal calls. Thanks again for your willingness to share your considerable expertise and effort with the thread. Frank

ED: I think you're right on with your predictions, but like Arnies better.

Without useing any great charting prowess, it appears that when NXTL hovers at one point, then gradually starts loosing ground, the big downer is comeing. Investors misinterpret the stable price and let their emotions win out by selling. It seem to me that If trading is low, there is alot of support.

I haven't participated much the last few days in order to get a feeling for the near term direction of the stock. I believe that you are accurate with your predictios and my gut feelings tell me the same. I sitting here poised to buy in more when the low comes.

Back to the quotes and good investing.
