The "big" ones - > 30" are still big ticket specialty items.

I have seen a Panasonic (?) flat screen (LCD-TFT) computer display for aut $2300 (JUST the display - 17" diagonal).

Compaq offers a similar deal but for even more money - about $3400-$3500.

they were all over comdex. the large plasma 41" wide screens will be available in a few months for 17.5K. price to drop to 3K in about 3 years. the small 15" lcd's are not as sharp as my sony 200sf so i can wait.
