I watched the interactive video stream of Chambers keynote at Comdex. It was great. If you've got an hour and enough PC horsepower I'd recommend spending the time to hear what he said about the future of the internet (compared it to the Industrial Revolution), and the affect on business (time-to-market and profitability). One of the key points he made was the operational cost savings CISCO achieved by putting up their own site for product support and service. Also that companies were beginning to realize that IT/IS was not an expense center, but the place for competitive advantage. Another point was that Cisco would be leveraging strategic partnerships with companies that have the most influence.... [the leaders]. The the live video webcast is available at: cisco.com L. Wolf
