Great Panther, Fortuna silver, B2gold, and other little fellers doing better than larger stocks today! Hope the trend continues. Good for GDXJ, too.

Int'l Speculator says buy Great Panther Resources

Great Panther Silver Ltd (C:GPR)

Tuesday September 13 2011 - In the News

The International Speculator in its Sept. 5, 2011, issue, says buy Great Panther Resources Ltd. at $2.87. This is the second go-round with the Mexican silver miner. The newsletter said buy three times between May 2, 2006, and July 2, 2007, at prices ranging from $1.81 to $2.30. It then said sell on May 1, 2008, at $1.08. Assuming an investment of $1,000 for each of the three buys, the Speculator's sell yielded a loss of $1,502. Great Panther was among several sells in mid-2008, one of the Speculator's occasional house-cleaning exercises. Then, the writer said Great Panther enjoyed improving production at the Guanajuato mine in Mexico. The problem was the time lag until production topped out. The current buy follows a site visit by senior metals analyst Louis James. He says he likes improving results from Guanajuato. These include resource growth, higher production and increased profitability. "Hard to argue with that," says the analyst. Despite difficulties, the company is on track to increase production from 2.3 million ounces AgEq last year to 2.9 million ounces this year. Next year will see increases to 3.8 million ounces AgEq at a lower cash cost. The writer says this should help push the shares steadily higher.
