<<<Are you suggesting we did not do that? WE DID STIMULATE. We have been stimulating since Y2K!!!!>>>
From Y2K until the fall of Lehman Brothers in the fall of 2008, we pursued a Conservative economic policy led by George W Bush, Dick Cheney, and advisors from the Conservative establishment (eg, Cato Institute, AEI, Weekly Standard, et al).

While we were having near full employment, the working poor were working harder and making less money. The rich (maybe top 20%) were getting wealthier and that was good. But the super wealthy, the top 2 percent, achieved near monopoly of wealth. They own assets greater than 90% of the US wealth. Their taxes were lowered. If you would only spend a few minutes of time researching this subject, your anger against those who you believed spent too much and caused our debt crisis could subside - at least substantially
- and find find out the real cause of the financial mess we are now in.

I am an eternal optimist <GGGG>.
