Solar and wind will compete when they are economically attractive. There are limitations to both of these as a source of energy -- as you well know. Natural gas has some truly compelling attractions and has plenty of room to grow. I drive a car -- I use gas. I assume you do as well. My gripe is that neither of us is paying for it -- and yet we don't see ourselves as sucking on the public tit -- but every time you say 'fillerup' you are enjoying the mother of all 'entitlements' -- your god-given entitlement to 'cheap' oil, no matter who has to suffer and pay for it. So long as we can shift the cost, we are bums who don't pay our bills. Bums who then point a finger at people who earned a living, supported their elders and now expect us to follow suit.

We are bums -- we bitch and moan about others being freeloaders when it is you and it is me who suck the tit dry -- we are the biggest freeloaders on the planet. Fillerup -- and kiss grandma goodbye for me.
