conference call detail:
FDC contract has three parts:
1) 49M if FDC does not cancel the contract in 5.5 years.
2) if FDC has any sales on PEGACARD will give $$ to PEGA
3) if contract cancelled today, pega will get 18M

current business is unaffected by FDC deal

pipe line is strong in all business sectors.

company is comfortable with Q4 without $750K
Company think F98 is on the right track.

Company has some shareholder insurance (no detail was given)
company has the evidence (BILL from E&Y) for 8K statement.

Interesting that Coopers & Lybrand agreed with E+Y and the stock isn't down. The bet is all on the come now. It is a blind leap of faith in a management team naive in the ways of accounting that estimates for 1998 are conservative. PEGA still hasn't had a cash flow positive quarter this year. For a software company with high margins, this seems quite odd. It looks like they should turn cash positive this quarter (Q4) because $5mm is due from FDR but due to the credibility gap of a company without an auditor and inconsistent financial statements, I have to believe this stock doesn't have a good move for a while.

The 10-Q is out today....
