Look, GST, you know nothing about what you pretend.

1. Folks don't want you here..........leave. You don't have the mental strength to think clearly.

2. You can't price externalities,.......so don't bother with utopian nonsense.

3. You say, "What does it cost to FAIL to educate a poor child?"
And since the average budget that society devotes to educating children is approx 10K/yr/student, the failure is not what society has done.......and continues to do. WE already SPEND too much. No, the failure is a function of attitude and culture; society has provided BILLIONS, including payment to thousands of liberal teachers who can't get the job done. Failure to learn is a function of attitudes, including gangsta hip-hop culture. In poor schools, the library books are NOT dog-eared from use by students who are striving to learn. Most students don't give a rip, don't do homework, and many don't even complete school, opting to drop out, especially in poor districts. Personal responsibility of the students and parenting is the failure. How else to explain why poor from China, Vietnam, Korea, etc., consistently achieve far more compared to domestic blacks and poor whites? You can check act.org page 4

FYI, the DC school system spends more per student than any other..........and you can report on failure rate. You have it backwards. Society spends .....students choose to fail Welfare is too attractive. heritage.org

If you need more education, send me a private message. This board does not appreciate your infantile suppositions.
