More likely inflation has flowed to other countries, and americans are not facing enough inflation to a great degree yet. Also, mysteriously the 401K and retirement accounts invested in the stock market refuse to go down while huge financial assets need to be marked down to reflect reality.

The so-called "Occupy Wall Street" protest is a predictable farce. The tactics are easily defeated...

... and the stated goal is utterly absurd. Presidential commissions are where ideas go to die:
