It will be interesting to see what his take on taxation is once he starts struggling with the tax system as the self-employed see it.

15% self employment tax plus 30% income taxes plus state and local. Then, trying to figure out how to pay his own health insurance and manage to put away some money for retirement, employee's health insurance and retirement and workers comp and half their SS & Medicare taxes on top of that, plus living on top of that?

It has a way of opening the eyes of people.

SilentZ says he's now a Consultant. That's an often used euphemism for being out of work. Makes you wonder.
