I ordered Ron Suskind's book today and was thinking about it tonight and all of a sudden it hit me like a rock. Obama campigned with Stiglitz, Reich and Goolsby and say by inference the Bill Moyer's crowd. Those folks above are the perfect metaphore for Obama's campaign. I was with my daughter at the U of Oregon where she was a senior. They set up a projector in her grage and tons of university kids came over to watch the obama speech. But as soon as he got in office, he hired Summer's, Geithner, Rahm, and now Sperling (a Republcian) and Daily (a politico). Those folks are the perfect metaphore for how he has governed. Those two groups of philosophies are night and day. The populations of thought are so differnt the tails of the two populations do not even overlap. It is like as soon as Obama was elected his twin brother came in to govern and we had never seen that guy before. Who was he? And so for three years now many of us have scratched our heads about Obama. We could not wrap our heads around two completely different personalities, or believe it. But there is the prima facie logic. And those kids did not come over to see Summers, Geithner Rahm Sperling and Daley I can promise you that, and the Wall street crowd go free, and an increase in troops in Afghanistan, or the torturers go free, and the unions get beat up and the poor neglected. Nope. So they stayed home in 2010. That simple. Today Obama' brother returned. He had better stick around.
