You are right about some of the rich not paying their fair share. $5,100,000 in gross income taxed at 12.3% is a disgrace. Her husband got caught trying to avoid paying taxes on his yacht.

Remember that the top 1 percent of income-tax payers shoulder 40 percent of all income taxes. Then remember that 50 percent of income-tax filers don’t pay any income tax at all.

You want a fair tax system, then we should have a flat tax with no deductions.
