Ray,

Thanks for the excellent review. As always - I am impressed by resources here and the willingness of the holders of knowledge to share it.

I am now even more convinced we should be "investing" in CNG infrastructure instead of trains to no where.

Bob

Hello Ray,

What impact would extreme cold temps have on the opex? It would seem that this would be a natural way to monetize the stranded gas on the North Slope. (Plenty of valuable uplifted crude from the pressurization of the CO2 sequestration)

It is my belief that TAPS could be re-pigged to accommodate product as well as crude for around $1 billion. Even with most of the product being diesel, it could be delivered to the Cal. market very cheaply.

Perhaps XOM and COP shedding West Coast refining might make this idea more politically possible?

Many thanks for your input.

Mike
