The stimulus did work very well.

longnshort, I have heard others say that "tarp and the stimulus" did not work. Well, it looks to me that the financial institutions and corporations have survived the crisis that occurred in Sept. of 2008, GM and other corporations have survived along with the suppliers to these corporation. Most of the States have relied on the stimulus to survive cutting their State programs even more. Such States as Texas, Missouri and other have accepted FED money to prevent further cuts.

And, the opponents say that "Tarp and Stimulus" did not work!!! They just need to review the media reports and reports coming from their States regarding the financial conditions of their own States. Many of the States with a "balance budget amendment" would not have survived without the stimulus money from the FED's.
