You're in disagreement with Kevin Trenberth himself as (in the leaked climategate emails) he famously called it a travesty that alarmists couldn't explain the current lack of warming.

They've come up with a new theory to explain it, claiming it 'may' be hiding in the deep ocean, though how it got there without passing through the upper ocean they still don't know.
