Over on the Obama thread, I responded to your most recent post with considerable detail, refuting much of what you said. Why do you not respond?

As I think Z once meant he thought the worst democrat was better thant he best republican.

That sounds about right.

> The end justifies the means. If Z admits democrats or Obama policies have failed, that means they are failures and should be removed from office.

What? I can't stand most Democrats. I bitch about Obama all the time. Plenty of his policies have failed. You're confusing me with someone else.

>As I think Z once meant he thought the worst democrat was better thant he best republican.

Yes, it's true. Democrats are feckless and the Republicans are dangerous. I'd rather support the former than the latter. I did realize however, that I would've probably voted for Eisenhower over Obama. But the parties are not the same parties they were in the '50s in terms of policy alignment, and the leftmost Republican is to the right of the rightmost Democrat. That wasn't the case before. So should I vote for a right winger if I support left wing policies, when no right winger will support a left wing policy? Of course not. If I did, I'd be a moron.

Most people will justify voting for poor candidates...and then complain about bad government. They do not wish to admit to their own poor decisions. We have bad politicians because we voted them in...we expect little out of them and support them to the hilt if they have a d or r after their name...depending on one's own beliefs...it is ridiculous and I do not see a trend towards more intelligent voting anytime soon.
