bellboy-- no, i wasnt trying to be critical, or doubt you. i was just thinking that the plant maps couldn't possibly be that bad. SBC has pretty detailed records, so i assumed that nynex would as well. the trying to convince people you are where you say you are is funny. i think everyone who has worked as a lineman has had the same problem<G>. my fathers best friend is a VP at sprint, he came from the united telephone side. he started out doing line maintenance and has the same story. good luck to all, trey
