I make sure that owners are abiding by the regulations, environmental, health and safety mostly. Secondly, if I quit the industry will continue. Thirdly, responsible owners, like Shell, acknowledge climate change/global warming and are doing some things about it. Not enough, mind you. Fourthly, they pay me well and the money enables me to be active in AGW politics. Quite frankly I don't see any conflict. I don't work directly for the owners.
