The Viterbi School’s Biomedical Engineering Department has named its keynote lecture for the late Fred S. Grodins, the department’s founding chair.

Looks like Fred might be qualified to talk about about biological control systems. Except for the part that he doesn't appear to be with us anymore. So, do you think that his creds transfer to you?

Hey! guess what, the founder of my company applied his work with control systems for robotics to multi-radio mesh wireless networks to make a commercial mesh wifi product for extreme outdoor network applications. And I totally grok the whole control systems thing now. And I used "grok" properly in a sentence, thus proving that I have the whole geek thing down. So I have just established my cred on the topic.
