Interesting, wonder where those huge prawns I buy at Costco come from? dirty rivers in Viet Nam? They taste great.

Speaking of who destroyed the cod fishery, I remember when I was going to school, almost every week there were reports of fish being dumped overboard because the fish plants could not handle it.

Caplin today, only the females are shipped to Japan, the males are dumped, I've seen the bottom coverd with them, Males taste great fried crispy.

Then there was the white fleet, and reports that one could walk accross St John's harbour on the boats.

Then there's this , if a fisherman catches a salmon in a net in NL , He has to through it back dead or alive, and farmed salmon does not taste good to me.
Anyway better get on topic or get kicked off.

edit : they're shrimp not prawns and are from Bangladesh

Boy, thanks for the fish vid Swan.
I'll Stick with good old fish from the Comox docks.
We used to eat that stuff now and again a few years back.
Soooo cheap; but then we got some that tasted funny.
That was sort of the end of it, but still bought it now and again.
I do catch lots of fish, also we get the best fish on the planet at the docks for $4-$8 lb.
Its worth it.
