Tom:

BTW do you always use stops? Daily only? Or GTC?

Always, except when I get tired and go to bed, like the night before Black Monday... <BG> A couple of nail biting days because I had no intention in taking a loss in the drillers I had just rebought. Fortunately, blind luck stepped in and pulled my fat out of the fire. Daily or GTC is determined by my timing on owning the stock. Some of my less stellar holdings I do not enter stops on because I got tired of being wacked out of the stocks by MM shake outs.

Great move with your short on CDG (it's going to gap way down this morning).

This was a "nervous" day trade and not as brilliant as it sounds. Real cojones would have required holding it... Not there yet.

One of the indicators I have been watching is the "window" (gap), Morris doesn't address them very much in his book, but Nison ascribes much stronger emphasis to closing windows. I have been using them to set my price targets for the drillers and its been working pretty well (I set it as a mental buy, but only if TA confirms a turn, which so far hasn't happened). Some of the windows were so far out I thought I'd never come close, but a lot of the prices are within striking range now. I have some real buys in today to begin rebuilding...
