On #4, I believe that the Federal Dept of Health Commissioner will be able to force Healthcare providers (Insurance Companies, suppliers, etc.) to become more efficient and bargain lower healthcare cost to us the consumers. Three years ago, I attended and AARP Leadership meeting in Washington, D.C., where it was proposed that Health Commissioner be granted the legal authority to bargain with the healthcare providers. It looks to me that this legal authority will be provided as proposed in the healthcare bill and lower our healthcare cost going forward.

This is really a pipe dream. Romneycare has more than doubled the cost of healthcare in Massachusetts in only four years. And the state has more authority over healthcare providers than Obamacare will. Rates can't possibly be reduced if minimum coverages dictated by the government and requirements for insuring open-ended pre-existing conditions are enacted. It's simple arithmetic.

"I agree with you that Obama at this point has not resisted the Republican's thrust for cuts outlined in your #1 and #2."

Its much bigger than that. If he would have let the Bush tax cuts expire he wouldn't stand a chance of being reelected.

"On #3 the US had a part of the unified World sanctioned attack to protect the Libya people. If we had not participated what would have been the Republican attack against Obama?"

World sanctioned but not approved by the US Congress. As to the Republican response, Ron Paul would probably applaud it. The rest of the party would be best served by say nothing. I don't think it would be of any political benefit to them advocate another war.

As to the healthcare law, Obama stated that it would not add to the deficit. This is the most ridiculous claim he has made since assuming office.
