Z, > Wars that cost, what, 25% of our current deficit?

Deficit spending reached to 25% of the GDP during WWII.

Even the Obama deficit today is reaching 12% of the GDP.

Want to increase that to 25%? Never going to happen, unless you want to usher in WWIII.

Wars that cost, what, 25% of our current deficit? Once again, not pocket change. Very consequential.

I think CURRENT costs are about 160B a year and near a peak. That's far from 1/4 of the deficit which is at least 1/4 x 1.5T or 375B. Where do you get your numbers or do you make them up as you go?.
