both are necessary. Encryption protects data that is being transmitted. Biometrics ensures that the person sending the protected information is actually the person authorized to send it. CA and others have products that will permit network administrators to manage systems remotely. It is vital that they know for sure that the right person messing with the network.

Dan,

Inranet must have bigger time biometrics. (audit trail).... Internet will be licenced software/operating system using very inexpensive input devices.

Minor role still means big bucks.

ps. Is NRID for sale?......Do they own anything?...or does Cogent own everything? Identix hasn't bought a company in a while.....I'm thinking.... retinal scan or face geometry...but you never know.
