IMO, until the skilled jobs and trade jobs come back nothing will change. How many of the individuals we know will get re-employeed at the same salary or rate that they have before Bush's financial crash in September 2008.

thank you for making my point for me. You don't even realize how everything you said before is immediately dismissed because you went to the "blame bush" mantra.

but i do find it amusing that you are setting up the expectation that obama won't run because of the "stress". The only reason he won't run is because it is clear to even him that he is hated by the mainstream voters and can't win.

The smartest thing the democrats could do would be to set Hillary up to run in 2012. I don't think she will succeed though. She's tied to the leftist progressives too closely. For god's sake, she gave a nod to Saul Alinsky (something that you are clearly proud to do). But I don't think you understand the "optics" of that.

Nope, it's time to clean up the mess that the democrats and RINOs have made in the past 20 years. 2012 will bring real change.

Paul

I agree with you Hillary Clinton would stand a better chance being elected next year than Obama. Hillary has no ties to our current economic situation. She is associated with the prosperity of the 1990's. There was a recent poll that had her as the most admired political figure. I believe she would do better with the Jewish vote. If she could come up with a Hispanic running mate it would be a hard ticket to beat. Maybe former New Mexico governor Elliot Richardson would be the one.

All that being said, I don't expect it to ever happen. Obama wants to be reelected so bad he started campaigning months ago. I think he has internal polls telling him that it won't be easy.
