That's a recent GISS temperature chart.

Can anyone explain why in 1980, GISS said 1940 was warmer than 1980 but by 1987, that had changed? How does one justify changing the past?

    Brumar89 has posted several times how GISS's historical temperature data changed after Hansen took over. By now GISS's temperature record deviates significantly from HADCRUT and UAH temperature datasets. Also, tell me, if the promised warming has shown up on schedule, exactly what is it that Trenberth clearly feels the need to explain?

    This whole field is starting to resemble the old Soviet era joke: The future is known. It's the past that keeps changing!
