ken... So can America trade off these things for products of other countries...like so called free trade? Can you trade an interstate highway for say banana's from South America? When the Highway construction is completed what happens to all the workers? If all that you have stated is value of America..why then does Government by way of borrowing... sell off America's value to countries like China, Japan, Russia and other countries. If big Government and their jobs is so good for America why must government..in this case hussein obama... sell off America's future...Thats destroying American value not creating it. Why is it that these other countries are not borrowing from America? Maybe hussein obama should seal off all borders from all other countries...no trade...America would be more valuable then ..is that right ken. Sounds a bit communistic ? <<How does creating more government jobs add to the overall value of America?>> Does the Interstate Highway system add to the value of America? It was created in large part by government jobs. Does the National Park System add to the value of America? It was created by government workers. Does out system of railroad transport add to the value of America? It was created by government subsidy. Do our land grant colleges add to the value of America? Has the space program added to the value of America? Have the dams on the Columbia and Snake Rivers added to the value of America? The Hoover Dam? The Defense Department? etc.
