Glenn,, I just got back from a business trip to India. Granted there has been an influx of capital into the country and there are opportunities galore. But I did not see much of a change inn the business approach/outlook of the Indians. They do not yet have that "investment spirit" that go-getter approach that we see here in the US. They do not think for the long term. People from the pharma industry that I interacted with just think for the short term and the decision making seems to be concentrated in the hands of a select few at the top. I did not see empowerment at the different levels of management. And the infrastructure is being ignored unlike the Chinese whose Govt. focuses on infrastructure such as pulling down the shanties and erecting high rise offices in places like Shanghai.

So India is still years away from the Chinese in fully benefiting from the capital infusion from the West.
