I would argue that they did almost all of those things... I would appreciate hearing the argument. Have you ran the numbers? Supposedly if you confiscated 100% of the targeted "rich", you would hardly make a dent in Obama's spending, it would only fund the current level government spending for a few months? I'll meet you at the 90s, I'll agree to your tax levels of the 90s and you cut spending to the levels in the 90s. See how easy that is? A bipartisan solution is it not?
