TARP is $700 billion. Stimulus is close to $800 billion.

But you're right in one aspect. We'll likely get most of the TARP money back.

Either way, the cost of wars have averaged out to like $125 billion a year. Obama already increased the federal budget by six times that amount.

The wars will wind down, hopefully sooner rather than later, but that won't have any significant impact on the deficit.
