Great press release - this is just where we want BIOMATRIX and SYNVISC being presented to the medical community and the public. It clarifies price question $495 but states that payment (at least medicare) remains to be ironed out. I think it is just a matter of (short) time and this will be set. GOOOOOO BIOMATRIX. Jim

A treatment course of three intra-articular injections is priced at $495 to the patient. ..compare this to the cost of arthroscopic surgery or even the cost of a couple shots of cortisone with years of nasaid's!! .....nsaid's have nasty side effects and almost everyone wants to avoid them!!! ........i think synvisc's success is a lay-up--in fact, i am in the process of increasing my position--price may be low enough to warrant further purchase. ....thanks for the post!!!!!!!
