And she has hit the nail ion the head regarding what the dems message must be i.e. dems are fighting for the middle class and Republicans for the rich. It has always been that way, but today more people can see just how much the rich are taking over the country, like they do every 50 years or so and take all the money leaving the working person barely getting by on slave wages. People who don't know their history don't know how badly workers were treated before TR and FDR and unions. Sweat shops were pervasive; and are making a comeback under the republicans. And workers were treated like shit and made ot work in very dangerous conditions in steel plants, etc. Not to mention FDR and unions gave us the 40 hour work week, an end to the company store, vacations etc.
