we are at the tail end of an interglacial period

It's a shame CO2 doesn't produce more warming ... Ice Age has been the normal condition for most of the past million years or so ... all human civilization beyond stone tools has developed in the latest brief interglacial.

Canada covered with ice, 1000 feet of ice sitting on top of Chicago and Pittsburgh, our corn and wheat belt turned into tundra, hardwood trees surviving in Florida and south TX and Mexico. Not good. Even the tropics would be affected because all that water tied up in ice means less rain, bigger deserts.
