E-Commerce will fuel a demand for NW gear & SW After market close, CISCO SYSTEMS INC CEO John Chambers said that electronic commerce is growing at such a fast rate that Cisco's revenues could double or triple to reach between $15-20 billion by the year 2000. Chambers also told the COMDEX computer trade show here that current estimates for electronic commerce, which includes selling products over the Internet, are vastly underestimated. "Network commerce will grow faster than people realize," Chambers said in a keynote address that compared the "Internet revolution" to the industrial revolution. (Reuters 05:15 PM ET 11/18/97)
