I've seen her on Maher and MSNBC a lot.

I agree with that take. And she seems, given her biography, tough enough to withstand the idiocies of a senate campaign.

Ron Suskind as a short bit about her in his book. "Dirt poor" as "they" say from Oklahoma; first child when she was nineteen; followed her husband, her high school boy friend, around for a decade, in which she also got a law degree from Rutgers; divorces and by 1979 is on the faculty of the University of Houston. Does an investigation of credit card debt, becomes an expert and, somehow, path not noted, winds up at Harvard.

No silver spoons there.
